35. Karst Processes and Landforms

Karst


Karst erosions involves with water movement of surface streams, underground drainage flows, and groundwater. Moreover, these processes are also involved with weathering especially towards the solute limestone bedrock. This chemical process rather than mechanical process tears down the bedrock and play a important role in Karst erosion. In the Maligne Canyon, Karst erosion is definitely at work to remove the limestone bedrocks.
